Of course I saw at least 50 other things that i really wanted but my wallet is only so big. I've only got a couple more days left in nyc so i'm gonna try to make the most of them. Wish me luck!!!

savage beauty

So today Ellie and I finally made it down to the Met! We saw the Alexander McQueen exhibit and it was absolutely amazing!!! There wasn't any photography permitted so i wasn't able to take any of my own pictures but i did find a whole bunch here. If any of you guys are going to be in New York during the exhibit, you have got to check it out!!!

Me wearing American Apparel crop top and Forever 21 earings

So i woke up this morning thinking that my sister and i were going to the Alexander McQueen Exhibit at the MET, but by the time we left the house and got downtown, it was a little late to go to the exhibit. So instead we went to Times Square and popped into the Discovery museum to check out the Harry Potter Exhibit. It was pretty cool because they had all the props from the movies, you guys should check it our if your in the city. Well hopefully we'll get to the MET tomorrow!

lazy days

So the past couple days i've done a lot of sleeping and eating and tv watching. Basically i've been very lazy recently. But today i decided that i needed to get out of the apartment and do something. So my sister, Ellie and I went to a couple local stores, which was pretty fun. The top pictures are from a few days ago when we drove into the city. Although it was foggy we got a nice view of the city. Tomorrow i'm going to the Alexander McQueen exhibit "Savage Beauty" at the MET which i'm pretty excited about! Check in tomorrow and i'll tell you guys all about it!

while we're still young

I was just looking through some photos and i found these. Missing my cousins more than ever!

nyc day 7: sleep and food

My cousins left yesterday for our hometown of Toronto, Ontario. Its only been a day and i miss them all so much!!! So, being sad and lazy, i ended up sleeping in until 2:30 yesterday. The rest of my day was spent eating and watching tv. Then, for dinner my dad, Ellie and I went to a local sushi restaurant. It was nice having a bit of a down day after a week of activities. But dont worry, im getting back on my feet again so expect another post soon!

nyc day 5: dinner and the city

Petra wearing a dress from Kensington Market

Today we got off to a bit of a late start. So with our dinner reservations at 8 o'clock, we just popped down to Soho really quick because Zoe needed to grab some shoes. Then we headed down to this amazing Asian restaurant called Buddapest. The food was absolutely incredible and surprisingly filling. When we finished eating we went over to this really cool park that used to be a railway station. It was so neat walking through it and seeing some really nice views of the city.

nyc day 4: FAO Schwarts

So yesterday we accidentally slept in late so by the time we got out of the house we didn't have much time to do anything. So we decided to go to FAO Schwarts. It was a lot of fun even though we didn't buy anything. As you can see above, the candy looked scrumptious.
